Property DescriptionAccess to the property is by the porch, with space for boots and coats, which leads into an attractively furnished sitting room with feature stone wall, beamed ceiling and wood burning stove (fuel not included). There is a comfortable sofa, 2 armchairs and a selection of occasional furniture and a TV with DVD player and Wi-Fi. There is a pay phone.The kitchen/diner is light, bright and in keeping with the property. It is equipped with electric cooker and hob, a microwave and a fridge/freezer. There is also a circular pine dining table and 4 chairs.
Upstairs there is a small landing with an airing cupboard and a double bedroom with a 5ft bed, a wash hand basin, dressing table and built in cupboards. The second bedroom has 3ft twin beds and is similarly furnished. Between the bedrooms is the bathroom with a white suite consisting of bath with an electric over bath shower wash hand basin and WC and a heated towel rail.
All the rooms have pleasing views over the garden.
Night storage heaters are provided throughout the property.
Well behaved pets are welcome.
The cottage stands at the end of a terrace of three, with a charming, well-kept, sizeable garden, which is bounded by a stream (protected by low ranch style fencing). A garden table and chairs, and 4 deck chairs are provided.
There is a garage with off road parking in front of it (beware of lip from road). The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the garage.
Pedlars is a most attractive character cottage built from Cornish slate and granite. It is situated in the delightful hamlet of Ruan Lanihorne with its well known local pub The Kings Head, http://www.kings-head-roseland.co.uk/, which has an award winning restaurant. Local shops can be found in the nearby village of Tregony https://www.cornwalls.co.uk/Tregony. Ruan Lanihorne is about 4 miles from Pendower Beach and the pretty fishing villages of Portloe, Portscatho and St Mawes are a short drive away.
