Property Description

A delightful, spacious terraced cottage in a most sought after location across the road from the harbour and beach, that has panoramic views over Portscatho harbour and Gerrans bay to the Nare headland and is close to all village amenities.The coastal path leading to St.Anthony lighthouse and Zone Point, that has several good beaches on route, is just 100yds from Porthgate. The house is decorated and furnished to a good standard throughout and has the benefit of excellent views of the sea from all rooms except the kitchen and back bedroom.

Entering through the front door you are in the hall; a door on the left providing access the dining room which is furnished with a table that seats 8 and has good sea views from the front window. At the back of the dining room is a door to the Kitchen. The modern built-in kitchen has a double oven electric cooker with extractor hood, Fridge, Dishwasher, Microwave and range of cupboards and work tops. The kitchen also provides access to the rear courtyard through the back door and back into the hall.

On the right at the front of the hall is the Sitting room which extends the full depth of the house, this has TV, DVD, CD and good sea views from the front window. French doors at the rear open on to the pleasant patio area suitable for barbecues and deck chairs alike.

At the rear of the hall is the shower room with shower and WC.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms. Two bedrooms with 5' double beds, one with twin beds and 1 with bunk beds (suitable for children only). There is also a spacious bathroom with WC is to the rear.

Access to rear garden with patio area is via the back door in the kitchen. In the patio ares is the utility room which houses the washing machine, a second fridge, & the freezer. ( Please note there is a right of way across the back patio.) The patio also gives access to the terraced garden garden. Access to the terraced garden is via a locked gate. The views from this area are superb but the supervision of children is required due to the steepness of the access.

WiFi is available.

Heating downstairs is by night storage heating, the bedrooms are heated by modern electric wall mounted heaters.

Parking is available on the opposite side of the road outside the property or in the car park.
