The Carrick Roads is the stretch of water between Falmouth and the Roseland and extends up to the river Fal. This area offers what we think are some of the finest sailing waters in the UK, and is an excellent base for all levels of sailors.
There are plenty of boatyards for supplies and repairs, and if you need tuition this is available from the St Mawes sailing club and Roseland Paddle and Sail. Useful names include:-Percuil Boatyard, Polvarth Boatyard, Pascoe's Boatyard and Freshwater Boatyard.
