Simple,good value, no frills,great location.
"We enjoyed our stay @5,Harbour court. First the negatives: its fairly small, a little dated & there's no parking. However the positives outweighed the negatives, for us anyway. The positives are that its simple, quiet, cosy and brilliantly located. The only window with a decent view is the living room window which has a sideways on, uninterrupted view of the sea. Theres parking available in the village or in the carparks nearby. You can be on the beach in one minute. You can be sitting in the lovely pub (The Plume of Feathers) in one minute. You can join the social club (literally next door) for 5 & sit on their stunning balcony and take in the fabulous view . The little grocery store is a two minute walk. You can leave the building, turn right &walk across the headland (an easy walk) & down the steps on to the glorious Porthcurnick beach, You can also walk along the Lugger & follow part of the southwest coastal path to an equally glorious Towan beach, this is a two mile walk but if thats too much you can drive 5mins from portscatho to it and park in the N.T carpark. There's also the option of driving to St Mawes&taking the ferry over to Falmouth for the day. There's plenty to do & Harbour court is a great base to do it all from if you are looking for simple, good value, no frills accomodation. "
Another wonderful holiday in Portscatho
"We have had another wonderful holiday in Portscatho, 5 Harbour Court has been our base for several years now and the location is perfect for easy access to the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. It provides simple but comfortable facilities and caters for all our needs with a lovely view across the bay to boot! "
"I booked this property for my son and his family and was disappointed with the accommodation and some of the equipment which I felt was somewhat tired and in need of an update or replacement My daughter in law had to hoover the floor before she could unpack as it was covered in black dog hair (they didn't tell me until they left so too late for me to contact anyone) but the views from the lounge window are stunning so maybe that's the compromise. The other pain is that there is no parking with the property. "
"lovely place location brilliant. clean and tidy excellent views. steak from butchers wonderful ate it twice"
