"A delightful and charming cottage in a quiet location, attractively furnished and comfortable with everything needed for your stay including a large TV should the weather be poor. It is set in a secluded, attractive terraced garden with patio table and chairs but it is worth noting that the steep steps down from the lane might be tricky for the less mobile. Ruan Lanihorne is a very peaceful village at the head of the river and has a lovely church, an excellent pub, lots of good walks and is close to Pendower Beach, Portscatho and St Mawes. "
Lovely cottage, garden and location
"A very comfortable cottage, a lovely large and reasonably well enclosed garden that the dogs very much enjoyed, good location with a very nice pub mere yards away in a small but interesting village. We found the cottage well appointed (alas the weather was too warm to allow us to test out the woodstove or the Aga) with the sofa and chairs provided very comfortable and a nice large lounge. It's a fair trot to the bathroom if you're caught short in the night, and lots of steps and level changes in both house and garden, so you need to be reasonably fit, but otherwise all part of the charm. We'd very happily make a return visit and recommend to others."
"An authentic Cornish cottage with an attractive garden. Generally all was good although it could be said to have had an air of last minute preparation. Instructions for recycling could have been better - what there was was not clear. Equipment was a little quirky and some microwavable dishes would have been useful. We had a nice stay and appreciated the tea, coffee and milk which was left for us on arrival."
