Lovely location, doggy friendly and great house

"Cannot recommend this house enough following our stay. If its location and views arent enough then the extent of its facilities has to be. A great house for a large family or group of friends. Big sitting, dining kitchen and lounge area to either spread out or come together. The view from the lounge is amazing and changes throughout the day as the light moves around St Mawes we never got bored of sitting and watching everything going on. St Mawes is one of the most scenic places in Cornwall and the house plus the large window in the lounge gives you the best view of this spot. Near to centre and to wider walks out to St Just - a couple of minutes and your in open countryside and the coast path. Loads of space for everyone and bedroom and bathroom facilities in abundance throughout the property. Kitchen has loads of space and a separate storage area. Big fridge and freezer. Great for the dog and is kept very clean bearing in mind the amount of people who must use it on a regular basis. Loads of parking and outside storage space also. Will definitely want to stay again and hopefully soon."

"We received excellent customer service when amending details of our stay due to a medical problem. The house is in an amazing location and we would return for this reason alone!"

Sorry to say but property not very clean and a bit dated inside!

"On the plus most excellent views that did not disappoint and location and garden good, Unfortunately property a bit dated and not very clean as found loads of cobwebs and dead spiders, but the worst was the carpet that was still covered in dog hairs and even after using the Henry hoover in the property this was still bad, so whenever the kids sat on the floor there clothes was covered with hairs. Within being in the property 10 minutes the 5 year old fell down the wooden stairs (due to a lip on the top step) and was lucky to not hit his head on the wall but he did end up with a bruise on his face under his eye. As there was 2 couples and three children on this holiday (aged 3, 5 & 7) we had to make the decision that the children where to remain on the main floor and not to come up the stairs to the two designated children's room, so that this did not happen again (which meant that my husband and I ended up in the twin single bed rooms with an avocado green bathroom and no sea views for us) - not what I was expecting!!"

Superb location

"We recently enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Spindrift St Mawes. The views of the Fal estuary and the St Mawes bay are stunning from this property, and kept us well entertained throughout the holiday. The accommodation was comfortable well equipped and beautifully clean and the welcome pack was appreciated. "

A room with a view

"The view from the living room is as good as the photos suggest. The position of the property is just perfect - beautiful views towards the lighthouse and across the town itself, and a short 10 minute walk to the shops/pub through the garden and down onto the road (add 5 minutes for the trip back!). The house was equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of room (and bathrooms) for all (6 people and 2 dogs). Double quantities of crockery and cutlery proved useful - when one round of plates was in the dishwasher, there were still enough to go round for the next meal. We also appreciated the dog towels and treats left out for the canine members of our party. Being able to use the garage was an unexpected bonus and proved useful for packing the car on the one day it rained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Spindrift."
