Steps from the private parking (room for two cars) lead to the side terrace and front door in to a large entrance porch with hooks for coats, space for wellies etc and an airer. This leads to a hall area with washing machine/tumble dryer and freezer and a shower room with WC. Also on this ground floor is a further shower room with WC and bedroom with twin beds and wall mounted TV.

The upper floor is accessed up a small flight of steps to the master ensuite bedroom with 5ft double bed, bath and WC which has super views of the harbour and to Dodman Point. Bedroom three has twin beds and extensive sea views.

Down stairs from the hall leads to the kitchen/diner and lounge with easy chairs, with woodburner (logs are usually available in the village shop or please bring your own), TV, and DVD player. The dining area will seat up to eight persons and the kitchen is superbly fitted with quality induction hob, double electric oven, dishwasher and two fridges. A full range of kitchen units with marble work surfaces and a polished stone flagged floor complete this lovely room. The super sea views from this beautifully appointed property are even better when viewed from the large flagged rear terrace (access gained from the lounge via patio doors or the side terrace). The sea laps at the bottom of the sea wall on the seaward side of the terracing.

Under floor, and central heating makes this a very special holiday home at any time of the year.

March vacation in Portscatho

"We enjoyed our visit with long walks and watching the seabird variety from the living room. We especially enjoyed the meals at local pubs and talking with local residents. The Seahouse is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Cornwall. "

The Sea House is in a great spot

"We have stayed several times so clearly we like it.However very little has been done over the years & it is looking tired. The beds still have issues that again have been there for years. There needs to be a higher level of cleaning eg pull out cushions & hoover up crumbs particularly round the dining table. Overlooking the bay & harbour is the real plus point. The seals, birds & even basking sharks have entertained us over the years. Look forward to next time"

Delightful and comfortable house in a wonderful position

"We love the layout and situation of the house overlooking the sea within easy reach of the beach and village centre. The house is always clean and comfy and we like the large tiled entrance area where we can leave sandy or wet clothes and change shoes before entering the house. A delightful, well equipped property."

Totally relaxing stay

"Superb views, comfortable and well-equipped house, excellent shops and eateries close at hand, plus walking and swimming. A prompt and effective response to the collapsing bed problem couldn't have been quicker. Couldn't have suited our needs as painters and writers more. Two points - windows in double bedroom difficult to open and close, and is there a means of raising the blind downstairs except by hand rolling? If so we missed it!"

February 2018

A great house

"We had a great week at The Sea House. We loved the fact that at high tide you feel so close to the sea you could be in a boat. The views across the bay are such a pleasure. We had good walks/runs from the house onto the beach, cliff paths and quiet roads. The interior was warm, tastefully furnished and comfortable. We made good use of the log burner - necessary in February. All in all, a splendid place to stay - we hope to be back next year at the same time for the St. Mawes pantomime. "
