The successful Porthleven Food and Music Festival will take place on the new date of Saturday 26th April 2014.
The announcement was made as it was revealed that Hannabeth Johnson will take over the running of the event from the outgoing Nicky Adair.
The weekend festival, a popular attraction for guests staying in Cornwall holiday cottages and hotels, is officially returning for its sixth year and comes off the back of the festival’s huge success this year, where an estimated 18,000 people turned out.
Hannabeth Johnson, said, “I am going into the role with loads of enthusiasm and ideas and will do my best to make sure that the 2014 food and music festival is as good (as last year) and runs as smoothly.”
Next year’s festival is once again expected to host an array of cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs, concerts from local musicians and plenty of competitions.
